Children's Church

God has a passion for children. Jesus said “let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them”. Children are just as important as adults in the Body of Christ. They are able to know God personally and can learn to move in the power of God. There are numerous examples in Scripture which reveal that God can and will begin to work in children’s lives well before they reach the teenage years or adulthood. Moses, Joseph, Samuel, David, and John the Baptist are all examples of how God either began to work in their lives as a child or how He revealed His plan for their lives while they were still young. It is also our passion to connect children with God and to see them walk with God in His ways.

Our vision for the Children’s Church is to be a godly influence in a child’s life, which helps lead him or her into a personal relationship with God the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ. This is done by sharing God’s Word each Sunday with children as young as one. Our heart is to move beyond simple Bible stories and to reveal to children the character of God and His love for them.

The Children’s Church also intends to strengthen families and encourage them to seek God and worship Him together. Children participate together with their parents in worship before being released to the Children’s Church. We believe that parents are the primary spiritual influence in a child’s life, and therefore the Children’s Church is called to support the parents’ discipleship of their own children.
